Connections for Children

Children are a high priority at Crossroads. We work and pray hard to create a loving, safe environment where children ages 3 years to 5th grade can come to know Christ, love Him, and serve Him. Our children’s ministry is called Kids Crossing. Its purpose: To teach children the truth of God’s Word and equip them to apply His Word in their daily living.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” – Matthew 19:14.

Crosswalk

Sundays at 9:15 & 11:00 am

Crosswalk is our Sunday morning programming for kids. At Crosswalk children enjoy a large group worship service with songs, a skit and a Bible lesson that represent the message of the day.  Kids then break into classrooms with others their age for crafts and activities that help bring the lesson home.

Check your child in at the children’s welcome center if it’s your first time with us.  One of our assistants will then enroll your child and help you escort them to the appropriate class based on their age. After enrolling your child on your first visit, you can then check them in at one of the kiosks located in the children’s worship area. This secure check-in system makes sure every child is accounted for and notes any special needs or allergies on their name tags.

Every adult working with your child has undergone a background screening.

Sandlot

Wednesdays at 4:30 pm

Children 3rd through 5th grade are invited to join us on Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. for Sandlot – our mid-week programming for kids. During Sandlot kids play fun games and then do a Biblical-based activity.
