Erica Altenhofen
Erica Altenhofen grew up in a small town of 1,000 people. She was raised in a Catholic church but just never connected. While at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, her college roommate reintroduced to her the idea of going to church. She also encouraged her to read her Bible. This led to Erica accepting Christ Oct. 17, 2005. She was baptized a short time later on a mission’s trip to Kherson, Ukraine.
Her and her husband, Tony (her high school sweetheart), married Sept. 29, 2009 and have been attending Crossroads ever since. Erica has a master’s degree in occupational therapy. She enjoys camping, swimming, reading her Bible and traveling.
She joined Crossroads staff in January 2010. She works part-time assisting with various tasks around the office and helping the children’s and youth pastors.
