Gregg was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 9. He was active in youth groups and attended church camps every summer through high school just because they were fun. But with all that fun came additional instruction, which built upon the Christian teachings from his parents. Gregg began serving as a youth coach while in college and grew closer to God though his ministry to others.
After college, Gregg began his career in computer programming and continued to serve God as a volunteer in youth groups and other ministries. His job took him to Washington DC in 1985 where he met (and 2 years later married) a cute nanny at a local church.
In 1990 Gregg moved his family to Shawnee to escape the big city. They attended several churches in the area but never could find a church “home.” Then, in 1994, they received a call from Brad Fangman about starting a new church in Shawnee. Gregg & Julie jumped in with both feet and never looked back.
Gregg enjoys fishing and camping with his family and doing “computer stuff”.
